What better way to spend an evening then with the Four F’s:   food, fun, fellowship, and fundraising.

Around two dozen HSCCer’s gathered for a pot luck and mini auction.  Some attending usually eat alone or have limited time to visit with others, so sharing dinner and conversation was a welcome change.

We “shared the wealth” by recycling new or barely used items for the mini-auction.  Laughter was plentiful as people raised bids by three cents or seventy eight cents and guessed the contents of a mystery box.  Bid options ranged from homemade jelly or cookies, handmade potholders, seasonal decorations, to parfait glasses.

Thanks to our auctioneers–Lynda Ryder and Roberta Seavey–the mini auction raised $200 toward the Free Thanksgiving Dinner.
