The Board of Christian Education oversees the Christian education of children. It finds teachers for Sunday School, plans Rally Day to begin Sunday School, organizes parties on Halloween and Easter, arranges a confirmation class for youth, and is responsible for children’s Sunday School.
Serving on the board is a rewarding Christian experience. Board members are in contact with a full spectrum of the church family. In some cases, a board member might have the privilege of awakening the knowledge of God’s love. There is nothing better than to look upon the open, innocent face of a child as you tell them a story of God and how His love and presence are always with them.
